This fine-looking town hall building has a fascinating history that dates back to its construction in the 17th Century. At one stage, this tiny community returned two members of parliament, and the town hall was the battleground for their frequent disputes. The interior carries a series of exhibitions relating to the people and politics of the Isle of Wight.
