Poole Museum underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2007, partly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The stunning building has a brilliant entrance and atrium and visitors lounge that offers stunning views of the sea. There are many interesting and diverse collections on show. Some of the highlights include local maritime artefacts, artworks, photographs, costumes and a range of textiles.
