Purton Museum examines over two thousand years of history in this small community on the edge of Swindon. It works in a chronological fashion from the Ringsbury Camp Iron Age Hilfort, through the Roman occupation to the Saxons and the modern day. There are many agricultural tools on display, as well as kitchen implements, cheese making equipment, ancient maps, memorabilia from the world wars much more.
