The Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, or QUARANC, has been serving the medical needs of the British Army, her allies, prisoners of war and local civilians since 1854. This museum celebrates the great bravery and dedication of the nurses in the corps, and houses a large collection of artefacts, uniforms, photographs, documents and medical instruments that help to illustrate this colourful history.
