The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Museum of Technology is home to displays on military and trade training chronicling the corps’ role in ’keeping the punch in the army’s fist’. A vehicle exhibition hall houses 20 specialist repair and recovery vehicles and there is a unique collection of early examples of military electronic hardware, test equipment and literature, said to be unequalled anywhere in the UK. A local history project maps Arborfield Garrison’s effect on the citizens and life of Wokingham and its post-war development.
