This stretch of the Thames is particularly popular as the views of Windsor and the castle are spectacular. There are many boat trips available which range from half an hour to two hours in length. These can be taken from the Barry Avenue Promenade. Motor boats and rowing boats are also available for hire. The river has a large number of swans and ducks to feed, and fishing on the river is also popular as it is stocked with pike, chub, barbel, perch, roach and dace.
