The museum is in what was one of the most stately Officers’ Messes in England. The museum helps you to discover the story of the Royal Marines from 1664 to the present day and is brought to life through interactive and dramatic displays and the latest computer audio-visual technology. Also on display are exhibits on the Royal Marines Band Service and the museum is home to one of the most comprehensive medal collections in the world, with over 8,000 medals and all 10 Victoria Crosses won by the Royal Marines.
