The Royal Navy Submarine Museum is one of the finest of its type anywhere in the world, and offers visitors the chance to walk on board a selection of real submarines, and see the conditions in which submariners live for many months at a time. The collection has within it a great deal of artefacts that have been collected throughout the years, as well as an archive of photographs and related documents.
