Runnymede is located on the banks of the River Thames in Old Windsor to the west of London. The area of natural beauty is steeped in history and is maintained and managed by the National Trust. The Magna Carta was signed here in 1215 and there is a memorial to this event on the site. Other attractions include the Lutyens-designed Fairhaven Lodges and Kiosks and the remains of a 12th Century priory.
