This beautiful chapel contains a world-class collection of visionary paintings by the eminent artist Stanley Spencer. The wonderful chapel has been decorated in a 1920s style and oozes artistic excellence and architectural prowess from every angle. The chapel has a selection of murals on the walls depicting Spencer’s experiences of the First World War. The surrounding orchard is carpeted with wildflowers and offers beautiful views of Watership Down.
