This aviation museum represents one of the most extensive collections of aeroplanes and related artefacts to be found in Southern England. The museum tells the story of twenty-six aeroplane manufacturing companies that have been based in the region, including the world famous Supermarine Works, where RJ Mitchell’s Spitfire was produced. You are given the chance to go on board a Sandringham Flying Boat as well as a wealth of other historic military and civil aircraft.
