20th Century British art is the speciality of this first class art gallery at the very centre of Southampton. The extensive series of exhibits includes works by the Camden Town Group, Sir Stanley Spencer, Matthew Smith and Phillip Wilson Steer to name but a few. The overall collection has more than three and a half pieces spanning over six hundred years of European art history.
