The picturesque village of Streatley lies on the Berkshire side of the river Thames, facing Goring on Thames; the two villages are linked by a double bridge, giving stunning views over the Thames. St. Mary’s Church is tucked away just behind the High Street in Streatley; this pretty village church is on the right hand side as you travel from Goring. St. Mary’s was founded in the 12th Century and restored in the 19th Century. Goring and Streatley railway station is a ten minute walk away from the church.
