This fine bronze statue is one of the finest monuments to any of the monarchs outside the castle walls in Windsor. The statue stands at the crossroads between Castle Hill and the High Street, a point where the royalty meets the town. Queen Victoria was not only one of the longest running monarchs but one of the countries most popular. She reigned over a great empire and along with her husband Prince Albert was a great fan of Windsor where she spent a great deal of time.
