The Gurkha Museum commemorates the services of the Gurkhas to the British since 1815. The story starts with a view of the Gurkha and Nepal, and his homeland, before the visitor is taken through the main chapters of Gurkha military history from 1815 to the present day. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, 12 noon to 4pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
