The Hovercraft museum is one of the few collections anywhere in the world entirely dedicated to hovercraft. Located on the site of the former HMS Daedalus the collection has a vast array of vehicles, components and artefacts connected with this form of maritime affairs. Amongst the highlights is a repair bay where you can see full-size craft being assembled and fixed. There are also several interesting scientific exhibits relating to propulsion.
