The Treadgold Museum represents one of the most interesting local history collections in the region. The museum contains a wealth of information relating to the maritime past of Portsmouth and the way that the navy and traders have helped to form the community. Highlights of the exhibition include a costume gallery, photograph archive and several logs and diaries of maritime figures of note.
