The Spring Hill building was constructed in 1905, originally a furniture shop and then a car showroom, before being converted into the local Ventnor Heritage Museum in 1987. The museum holds an extensive collection of artefacts relating to the history of the town. Highlights of this include a photographic archive spanning the 20th Century, maritime collectables, historic maps, newspaper archives and artworks from the island.
