The garden that once belonged to Westbury House is now a pleasant public garden by the River Avon. The town’s Information Centre is housed here in a Georgian garden pavilion. Beside it the walls of Westbury House support a large Magnolia. On the river side weeping willows trail their leaves into the water. There is also an ancient Plane tree. The memorial shown here records the names of local men lost in two world wars.
