This medieval gateway is located close to the Great Hall in the heart of the ancient city, and would have once been one of the most important entrances to the community. Visitors are able to explore the interior of the structure and visit the site of the old Debtor’s Prison, where an array of historic graffiti still adorns the walls. There are brass rubbing sessions and quizzes to help entertain the kids.
