Picturesque Grade II Georgian watermill on the River Test which has been weaving silk for nearly 200 years. The silk is still woven on Victorian and early 20th Century looms for interiors, fashion and theatrical productions. Throughout the year there is a programme of textile-related exhibitions, children’s holiday activities and adult classes. The shop sells unique and exclusive silk gifts, and the tearoom offers sandwiches, cakes and tea/coffee. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 5pm and Bank Holiday Mondays.
