This impressive and recently refurbished and renamed museum houses the collection of this most eminent of Royal Boroughs. The specially-built extended section of the main library is a perfect venue in which to view the artefacts and documents that comprise the collection. There are over six thousand pieces on display dating from Saxon and Old Windsor to prehistoric tools, manuscripts, paintings and Victorian objects.
