Yelde Hall is an old form of Guildhall. Although it is believed that there has been a place of administration at the heart of the community since the first settlers, this building is first mentioned officially in Queen Mary’s Charter to the town in 1554. Visitors are invited to inspect the impressive historic building work both inside and out. The building now houses the local tourist information centre, where more information can be gleaned about the property.
