Gilnockie Tower is a 16th Century tower associated with the Armstrong’s. Guided tour at 2.30pm daily from Easter to 31st October, The Highest and Largest Armstrong Museum and Library in the World. Learn how the Reivers lived, see the ’First Foot’ Moon display, walk upon the rich ancient Tartan carpet. The bull, shown on the Tower top in our leaflets, was shoved by another animal of the ground-floor stable up the spiral staircase to the top. How did it get down?
