Dunaskin Open Air Museum tells the story of the Industrial Revolution in the Ayrshire region. There are a series of displays that pertain to the main industries of the region, namely coal mining, iron working and brick making. A series of audio-visual presentations help to offer an understanding into how it would have been to live in those days. There are also historical buildings, reconstructions and a period cottage from 1914 to admire.
