Set in the award-winning Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick Museum explores local themes, natural sciences, militaria and the history of Hawick’s world famous knitwear industry through a series of displays. There is a wide variety of art and craft displays, and one particular highlight is the Jimmie Guthrie Room, which explores the life and career of this 1930s motorcycling ace.
