Open from Easter to October, the Jedburgh Castle Jail and Museum re-lives the harsh realities of prison life in the 19th Century. The displays in the cellblocks re-create the lives of the prisoners and staff, and you can also find out about the history of the town in the Jailers house. Facilities include audio tour, foreign language guide and picnic area. There is also a ground floor-based audio-visual display. Tour groups are welcome.
