Set high on a rocky outcrop, this well-preserved 15th Century tower house is managed by Historic Scotland and contains an interesting exhibition of Walter Scott-themed tapestries and costume dolls. Scott was brought up by his grandparents at hte nearby farm of Sandyknowe.
