Whithorn is an historic Royal Burgh of Scotland, and from the moment you arrive in the medieval central streets, you will be aware of its age and prestige. The Whithorn Trust is a society dedicated to protecting and preserving the history of the area for future generation. The majority of its collection is displayed at the Whithorn Visitor Centre, where photographs, artefacts, newspaper articles and archaeological finds can be viewed.
