An 18th century valley garden with a mild climate that allows exotic species of palm, bannana, bamboo and canna to thrive outside. In spring there are rhododendrons and magnolias. There is an outstanding Mediterranean garden, Himalayan glade and New Zealand garden. Facilities include the Old Colonial restaurant, plant sales, shop, aviarys and sculpture trail.
