This unique attraction houses a comprehensive display of tanks and other heavily armoured machines.The museum takes visitors through over one hundred years of military history using an audio tour, interactive exhibits, lectures and exciting displays of real tanks in live action. A full-sized replica of a World War 1 trench, complete with sound effects, gives a powerful insight into the lives of young conscripts. Regular events throughout the year include tanks in action and amoured vehicle rides. A licensed restaurant and picnic play areas are available.

With both my Mum and Dad having been in the Army, it's no surprise that I have had a lifelong interest in military vehicles and the Tank Museum lets the inner army geek out. Hundreds of exhibits and tanks are on display on a site that is located deep in the heart of an active Army base. For me one of the best bits was the viewing areas where you can see Challenger tanks and other vehicles being put through their paces. Very exciting.
