Set on the beautiful Somerset coast, this fascinating Palmerston fort was built in 1865 and was rearmed during the Second World War. Owned and operated by the National Trust, the fort offers visitors the chance to see a piece of well-restored military history with a great deal of original features. The fort offers fantastic views over the Bristol Channel and the surrounding headland.
