Carn Euny Ancient Village is amongst the best preserved sites of its type in the southwest of England. The village was occupied from the Iron Age until close to the end of the Roman occupation in Britain. There are a series of foundations of stone houses on display and a fascinating ‘fogou’ underground passage running across the site. The area is protected and preserved by English Heritage.
