Clifton Downs are an area situated to the north of the village of Clifton in Bristol. They represent a large area that has been left fallow by the local people and is a wild area that attracts an interesting variety of wild life and plant life. The area is popular with walkers and runners as well as picnickers in the summer months. There are many tracks and trails to explore.
