This National Trust discovery centre explores the industrial heritage of Cornwall and the Cornish people. The centre has a selection of hands-on exhibits to enthuse and entertain the entire family. The giant ninety-foot beam engines are the centrepieces of the complex forming a dramatic reminder of the way these mines used to operate. A friendly and well-informed team of enthusiasts staffs the centre.
