The Devonshire Collection of Period Costume is an outstanding visitor attraction. The exhibition has a massive range of clothes that would have been popular in this area and in other parts of the country ranging through many hundreds of years of fashion and change. It is fascinating to see how the fashions of yesteryear changed just as fast as they do today amongst certain classes of people.
