It always amuses me when I watch a particular James Bond movie and I see the inside of the Eden Project masquerading as an ice palace. Knowing the project quite well I can see why it was chosen as a location for 007 but it's so much better as it's real purpose as a living theatre of exotic plants within each of its massive biodomes. Wonderful day out... whatever you do, don't miss it.

A great day out. There is so much to do here. I’m a keen gardener and found it heaven - full of plants from just about everywhere and used for just about every purpose, from fuel to food. We found the staff friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Don't miss the zip wire ride, which is great fun. The entry fee is a bit steep but it's reduced if you walk or cycle or book online, and if you live in Cornwall you can get a season ticket for a fiver. If you don't like crowds, it's best to visit on a sunny day, when everyone else will be at the beach.
