Frome Museum is housed in the former Literary Institution building. The exhibits feature local industries, the most prominent being Singer’s Art Metal Works, famed for their bronze castings of statues such as Justice of the Ole Bailey and Boadica, both in London. Printing and other industries are also shown along with a temporary exhibition changed twice a year. The library has a large collection of local books, documents, photographs and maps. Open March to November, Tuesday to Saturday. Donations welcome.
