Gaulden Manor is set in the valley between the Brendon and the Quantock Hills and was built in the 16th Century. The gardens – open from June to the end of August – contain a butterfly garden, herb garden, rose garden and the monk’s fish pond and island. There’s a secret garden here too, planted with white flowering plants.
