This project was set up to celebrate and conserve the tradition of local trades such as pottery, brick, broom and hurdle making. Exhibitions showcase Verwood’s past and present with information on the area’s history and displays by local artists and craftsmen. Free activities for children include the chance to work with clay and learn about potting. A regular farmers market is held on the site and homemade refreshments are available in the centre’s small restaurant.
