Kingston Maurward House was built in 1720 with the gardens being laid out in the style of popularised by Capability Brown; they consist of a matrix of small gardens, tree trails, lakeside walks and a walled garden. The animal park has an interesting collection of animals. There is a large play area for children, space for a picnic and the visitor centre and has a variety of plants and gifts for sale.
