Located close to Abbotsbury, overlooking the town and the sea, this beautiful location is home to an important stone circle, one of several that have been found in this area of Dorset. There are eighteen fallen stones on the site, the exact dates of which remain a mystery, but considered opinion suggests they are probably from the late Neolitihic period or early Bronze Age. The site is managed by English Heritage.
