This museum is located within the 18th Century brass works that belonged to William Champion. The first commercial production of zinc in Europe was developed here, marking one of the most important milestones in industrial history. The main museum building holds an extensive archive of local industry displays that include a photographic archive, tools collection and biography of Champion and his family.
