The National Trust has managed this area of spectacular coastline since the early 20th Century. A popular spot for swimming and surfing, this headland environment has a long history of smuggling and ship wrecks and was an important location for the D-Day landing plans. In the late summer Baggy Point flourishes into a rainbow of coloured wildflowers and attracts a wealth of wild birds and animals.
