Okehampton Castle would have been the largest castle in Devon when it was complete. Sadly only the remains are left, but there is still enough for visitors to see what a beautiful and important building this would have once been. Built in the 14th Century, the castle has enjoyed a long and interesting history that is discussed in more detail at the series of exhibits that have been established on site.
