Bath in summer is a city of flowers. Time and again it has won the coveted Britain in Bloom trophy. Here the Parks Department shows off its skills. Each year there is a new floral sculpture in the Parade Gardens, placed where passers-by on Grand Parade can look down on it. An entrance fee is charged for the gardens. For your money you get fine views of the river and Pulteney Bridge and sometimes music from the bandstand.
