I've visited Polperro many times over many years, and I still think it's one of Cornwall's highlights. In fact, I'm not sure it has really changed much in decades. Winding lanes crammed with old fishing cottages still rise up from a very very picturesque harbour, which is still largely unspoilt.
It's probably more suitable for a walking, eating and sightseeing holiday than a beach holiday (there's no beach in the village), but that makes it ideal for a winter break. This is also a...
