This museum is the oldest and most prestigious in the whole of Cornwall, and holds an extensive collection related to the history of the county and the people that live here. Amongst the many highlights on show is an extensive collection of mineral deposits, an unwrapped mummy, paintings from across the county and many local crafts. The museum also offers a range of changing exhibitions on various themes in a purpose built area.
