  Sidmouth is a lovely seaside town in Devon and has a beach that is very popular with both visitors and locals alike. We found the local people to be friendly and welcoming, and enjoyed the interesting mix of shops, cafés and pubs that the town offers. I would recommend going in the Autumn so you can enjoy some of the local carnivals in the area.   - Craig
