I don't think St Ives can beaten on a sunny day. It's better than the Med or even the Caribbean, with its waterside cafés, restaurants, golden sand and jade surf.
We went in June, and it was positively balmy. We ate at a restaurant overlooking the harbour, then walked through the old streets to Porthmeor Beach.
